''Hemiarcha metableta'' is a moth in the Gelechiidae family. It was described by Turner in 1933. It is found in Australia, where it has been recorded from Queensland.〔(funet.fi )〕 The wingspan is about 18 mm. The forewings are whitish-ochreous suffused with grey and sprinkled with fuscous and with a pale ochreous costal streak throughout, broader towards the base. There are blackish costal dots at and near the base, connected on the costal edge. There are also fuscous dots at the base and in the disc beneath the costal streak at one-fourth, one-third, and beyond the middle, a plical dot between and beneath the first two. A fuscous line is found on the termen and fuscous dots on the apical two-fifths of the costa. The hindwings are pale grey, becoming whitish towards the base.〔( Trans. Proc. R. Soc. S.
